Eligibility : Indian
Entry Age : Above 18 years, guardian can open the account in the name of minor too
Investment : Minimum investment requirement is of Rs. 10000 and there is no limit for   the maximum investment
Interest : Depend upon the issuer and its rating along with the investment tenure
Account Holding: Account holding could be an individual or joint or as specified by the   issuer
Nomination: Nomination facility is available
Exit Option : Premature withdrawals are permissible
Taxation : There is no tax concession or benefit on either of the amount invested or   on the interest earned on the investment.
